A table game player at The Orleans, an off-Strip casino in Las Vegas, secured a payout exceeding $486,000 on May 14, 2025, after hitting a progressive jackpot on Pai Gow Poker.

According to a spokesperson for Boyd Gaming, the guest, who chose to remain anonymous, was playing $30 per hand and placed two side bets, a $1 progressive side bet and a $5 Fortune Bonus side bet

Table Game Player Hits Las Vegas Jackpot

The significant win occurred on the player’s second hand, when a natural seven-card straight flush (three through nine of clubs) was dealt, resulting in a $461,351 progressive jackpot and a $25,000 Fortune Bonus payout. Two other players each received $3,000 from their Fortune Bonus bets.

This event is among several notable gambling wins reported across Las Vegas casinos in May 2025. Aliante Casino celebrated a $10,000 table game win, while Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel reported multiple jackpots.

Cannery Casino also highlighted a $35,000 slot machine payout, and Golden Nugget awarded five-figure slot jackpots.

Additional wins included an $18,892.98 jackpot at OYO Hotel & Casino, a $20,760 Pinball Double Gold win at Sam’s Town, and a $15,312.57 win on Money Gong at Durango Casino & Resort. Sunset Station also reported a $32,032.50 Multi Strike Poker jackpot.

The increase in jackpot activity coincides with a broader trend in the casino industry, where operators are enhancing progressive jackpot offerings and bonus features to attract both local and tourist players.

Las Vegas, Nevada, relies heavily on tourism to drive revenue. Although jackpots and a premium gaming experience are among the primary visitor drivers, Vegas is also known for its top-tier dining and hospitality.

For example, artist Bruno Mars is nearing his 100th Las Vegas show at Park MGM, with a run that dwarfs that of other music legends.

The Orleans and other properties managed by Boyd Gaming have reported consistent interest in Pai Gow Poker and similar games, which combine elements of skill and chance and offer multiple bonus payout opportunities.

Light and Wonder has announced the launch of Rainbow Riches Dream Pots, a global jackpot system, in the UK and Europe.

Dream Pots is the company’s new global jackpot service using Light & Wonder’s Infinity platform. As such, Rainbow Riches Dream Pots connects jackpot pots across multiple global operator customers, powered by a shared liquidity system.

High Hopes That Rainbow Riches Dream Pots To Revolutionize the Jackpot Experience

The company hopes combining its popular Rainbow Riches franchise with a new jackpot system will position Light & Wonder at the forefront of the UK and European jackpot markets.

Light & Wonder has promised a broader, global roll-out through the rest of 2025.

Eoghan O’Dwyer, Vice President of Product, iGaming at Light & Wonder, commented, “Rainbow Riches Dream Pots highlights our dedication to enhancing the gaming experience for players. Launching the Dream Pots jackpots system is a major step forward for us, and we’re excited to present this to our operator partners in the UK and Europe.

He continued, “This new service showcases our commitment to providing outstanding products that not only bring joy to players but also create significant value for our partners and excitement for players. We’re eager to share this innovation with players around the world and further establish ourselves as leaders in jackpot gaming.”

Light & Wonder revealed its ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth in its last earnings update. The Vegas-headquartered entity saw global gaming revenue increase by 15% year-over-year to $537 million. Machine sales grew 38%, and iGaming was up 6% to $74 million.

Light & Wonder’s Growth and Future Innovations

Revenue rose despite the regulatory-driven removal of its Dragon Train terminals across North America. Competitor Aristocrat won a preliminary case against Light & Wonder in the District Court of Nevada, alleging intellectual property infringement.

L&W announced that 95% of its Dragon Train machines had been removed or converted to another game from its vast portfolio of franchises. It also teased the release of Dragon Train 2 for consumers across the United States of America.

Despite SciPlay’s revenue increasing 5%, net income dropped from $80 million to $64 million. This was due to costs for ongoing legal matters and company restructuring.

The NASDAQ-listed corporation will announce its results for the fourth quarter of 2024 on February 25, 2025.

James Raraty, Product Executive at Blueprint Gaming, tells CasinoBeats all about the launch of the company’s brand new jackpot system and its new Rapid Fire Jackpots title.

CasinoBeats: Tell us about the new Jackpot King system and the launch of Rapid Fire Jackpots.

James Raraty: Rapid Fire Jackpots (RFJ) is one of the biggest shifts we’ve seen in the jackpot game space in years. There has been little evolution in the classic mechanic but we feel we’ve plugged a gap in the market with our new product.

As many will know, we have a long-established heritage in this area with the industry-renowned Jackpot King progressive system and that will see no change with this development, nor is RFJ a competitor for it.

There was initially a name link in the early stages of development but we wanted to be clear that the two are separate entities.

We know how successful Jackpot King is and how it continues to be strong for us, especially within the UK market, but we felt that there was room for a system that offered smaller, more frequent pots.

RFJ features five progressive pots ranging from £200 to £7,500, along with four fixed pots, all of which will be dropping very frequently. If all goes well at launch, which we expect it to, the pots should be dropping as often as multiple times every hour, for the smaller variants. The frequency of the largest pot will become higher the more it is played.

CB: Why did Blueprint Gaming feel as though you needed to move towards offering more frequent, lower jackpots?

JR: We feel that there is a player base there. You have your jackpot players and your non-jackpot players and among the latter, there are some who believe that a major win on Jackpot King may be unachievable. RFJ counters that by delivering regular drops that will address that engagement.

That said, we believe that RFJ shouldn’t be viewed as a jackpot or a non-jackpot product. This will appeal to a mass market, especially in the UK. Our development for RFJ has been ongoing for over two years and we’ve seen from our research on player trends that market forces promote shifts in their behaviour.

So you might see at one end of the scale higher-value players (who we wouldn’t normally consider to be jackpot players) that have a wide scope of sites they visit to play, versus mass-market regulated UK sportsbook players and we believe that RFJ will be able to cater to both demographics.

This is the feedback we’ve had from operators too and we feel that this is a perfect product to bridge that gap. We know how strong Jackpot King is and it’s been out for a decade now and we feel that there is demand for the next step. RFJ is that step.

CB: Do you find that players are more engaged by having smaller jackpots more often compared to the anticipation of a more lucrative jackpot?

JR: As a player, if you’re seeing three of those five progressives dropping multiple times every hour, it’s going to feel very achievable and you’ll probably stay with the hope of hitting it yourself.

Comparing RFJ to Jackpot King, players are approximately ten times more likely to drop the jackpot, albeit much smaller than those enjoyed on Jackpot King.

So, while this is all currently conjecture as we haven’t launched yet our research, development and preparation all point to this being the case and we’re confident the performance will match our expectations.

CB: What is Blueprint Gaming’s strategy for the rollout of these new games and in which jurisdictions will they be rolled out?

JR: The first game to feature RFK will be King Kong Cash DJ Prime8, launching on June 27th.  It made sense to us to combine the launch with the latest version of one biggest IPs and one of the strongest mechanics that we’ve launched in the past 18 months.

From there we’ve got about roughly two games a month including Luck O’ The Irish Cash Strike, The Goonies™ Deluxe and the much-anticipated Rick & Morty™ Strikes Back. We should have approximately ten games featuring RFJ live before the end of the year.

Initially, we will only offer standard and also RFJ versions until integrations with all operators have been completed. Obviously, with the huge number of partners we have, the rollout takes a little time!
After we’ve launched the first batch of games we’ll offer a RFJ, Jackpot King and non-jackpot standard variant so we’ll have a product for every possible operator requirement.

Day one certified markets will be the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and .com-regulated regions via direct integrations with additional markets including Ontario to come online shortly afterwards.

CB: Are these new games going to be supplementary to the regular Jackpot King system games or is this a concerted effort to move towards Rapid Fire Jackpots?

JR: After the launch of RFJ and we’ve hit the number of titles we want to get to market, both systems will occupy equal billing eventually. We’re not trying to move Jackpot King players onto RFJ, as mentioned, we believe that the two systems will offer enough to satisfy their demographics. There will be some crossover, of course, but we’re confident they will find their niches among the player base.

Our ultimate goal is to have two distinct systems that have their own identity and offer different things. We’re just trying to accommodate everyone.

BeyondPlay received a B2B Critical Supply Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority, alongside the release of its new jackpot engine.

Citing that securing the licence had taken “quite a heavy workload”, the milestone allows the studio to expand its offerings with the MGA qualification backing.

Jacqui Gatt, COO of BeyondPlay, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the licence by the Malta Gaming Authority. As a start-up, without a dedicated compliance team until very recently, the management had to take on quite a heavy workload to make this happen.

“At the same time, we found the process to be very well managed and especially appreciate the efficiency of the MGA’s team and our advisors Helix Partners in the process of helping us reach this milestone.”

Alongside the licence, BeyondPlay added its jackpot engine to the supplier’s roster of community-oriented products under development, which transforms game sessions into multiplayer entertainment experiences.

The advanced, content-agnostic jackpot engine will be available as a software-as-a-service model to casino operators, offering branded and custom-tailored progressive jackpots to their players.

Gatt added: “It’s especially thrilling to know that we are now taking these important final steps on the path to seeing our solutions go live, with Jackpots planned for launch with multiple operators early next year.”

Ahead of the launch, BeyondPlay has already secured three partners for the product, including brands ComeOn Group and Soft2Bet, with roll-out scheduled throughout Q1 2023.

Karolina Pelc, BeyondPlay’s Founder and CEO, commented: “We feel passionately that we are building some of the most robust gamification solutions seen anywhere in the igaming sector and we are grateful to have these high-profile operators showing such early trust in and commitment to our first product going live – the BeyondPlay Jackpot.”

The company is currently also awaiting the approval of its UKGC licence and kicking off the application processes for licences in Ontario and the US, working towards submission in 2023.

Jackpocket has joined lotteries and community organisations throughout the US in a campaign to raise awareness about the risks of youth gambling.

Participating in this year’s 2022 Gift Responsibly Campaign, organised by the National Council on Problem Gambling and the International Center for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors at McGill University, the initiative is to raise awareness about the risks of gifting lottery tickets to children.

“Jackpocket strives to promote responsible gaming in every aspect of our business,” said Peter Sullivan, Jackpocket Founder and CEO.

“We are proud to stand with the NCPG in raising awareness that lottery tickets and scratch-offs are appropriate gifts for adults only.

“You must be at least 18 years old to place ticket orders on Jackpocket, and we urge everyone to avoid giving lotto tickets as gifts to minors – during holidays and throughout the year.”

Citing research from an undisclosed report, Jackpocket stated that results highlight that the earlier a person’s participation, or exposure, to gambling in childhood, they are “more likely” to develop a gambling problem later in life. This initial introduction is said to often be through a lottery product given by an adult who is likely unaware of the associated risks.

Keith Whyte, NCPG Executive Director, added: “Youth problem gambling has emerged as a significant and growing public health issue. We applaud Jackpocket’s commitment to raising awareness about risks of youth gambling through the Gift Responsibly Campaign.

“Our message is a simple one: lottery tickets are never appropriate gifts for children.”

This is Jackpocket’s fifth year participating in the Gift Responsibly campaign. Jackpocket is the first third-party lottery service to receive a responsible gambling certification from the NCPG’s Internet Responsible Gambling Compliance Assessment Program.

In the heat of September’s SBC Summit Barcelona, Simon Hammond, CEO of Relax Gaming, noted that “it depends on the jackpot system” when comparing where such functions rank amongst other slot marketing tools

When contributing to the Summit’s ‘Marketing the Jackpot’ panel, he explained that “they all have different player pools with different appeals”, suggesting that what may be an appealing jackpot to some, could seem irrelevant to others.

“I think from a marketing perspective, the global progressives are more attractive, but then there’s a question of liquidity,” added Hammond.

“The local jackpots typically aren’t that great to market unless they are literally ready to pop and the daily jackpots are more of a promotional tool on a daily level, so it depends on the jackpot system.”

However when it comes to creating hype around a game, Hammond stated: “From a pure marketing perspective, it’s the big ticket globals that are going to make the biggest waves and have the biggest new value.”

Alongside Hammond onstage was Bernd Henning, Chief Casino Director at Bet3000, who added that when tailoring a jackpot to a game, finding out your target audience is key.

Henning said: “As an operator, you have to analyse your customers and find out what they play and when they play, giving them what fits to their needs.

“With some operators, we will find out that people think a jackpot of, let’s say 100k, they can win, so they play it. With those really big ones, the global progressive ones, they hardly can win. So they say ‘I will never spend a penny on that, because the chance that I will win is so low’ even if it would be a life changing thing.”

“…what we should do to attract more users to play a slot is create more amazing, and a more attractive, amount of jackpots”

Lika Nizharadze, CMO at FortuneJack

He moved on to say that a company’s financial stature also has a big part to play as “there are operators who can’t afford to stake a jackpot with a million. So it depends on your size and the type of customers you have.”

When questioned on the problems caused by jackpot chasers, Hammond explained: “It’s actually quite an issue for the industry, especially jackpot syndicates. You find a lot of jackpot syndicates are actually trying to target those daily jackpots, or the low liquidity local jackpots by tipping the odds.

“This is becoming a bit of a headache for operators, sharing the same winners all the time, and for regulators actually as there is nothing illegal in it. It’s an issue for the industry for sure.”

Contributing to the panel beside Hammond and Henning was Adam Calleja Urry, Regional Director for Softconstruct. He stated that there are “always those types of players that will chase the jackpots and try their best to see where they could get their best return from. Definitely.”

When pressed on whether the industry is sparking innovation when designing jackpots, Urry believed that this was not the case.

He said: “From my perspective, I would say it’s at a standstill. So far, I’m not aware of any new innovations for running different types of jackpots that could sort of whet the appetite. It’s still pretty much the traditional progressive jackpots that we see that are being promoted.”

Completing the panel was Lika Nizharadze, CMO at FortuneJack, who claimed that player engagement helps to make a jackpot attractive, stating that “the greatest thing with a progressive jackpot is that users are the main thing that generate the jackpot.”

She continued: “Every path the user takes, it increases the jackpot prize higher and faster. Basically, what we should do to attract more users to play a slot is create more amazing, and a more attractive, amount of jackpots.”

“From a pure marketing perspective, it’s the big ticket globals that are going to make the biggest waves and have the biggest new value.”

Simon Hammond, CEO of Relax Gaming

When asked what she would prefer if she had the choice between a jackpot with one person winning a very large amount of money, or multiple users winning a smaller amount of money, Nizharadze was very clear about her preference.

She explained: “With one person, it’s always more attractive because it is life changing while still having fun gameplay and mechanics behind the slot. It’s more fun with the excitement and possibility of winning a life changing amount.”

In agreement with Nizharadze, Hammond was quick to explain how using a larger jackpot with less recipients can attract more users to the slot, stating that: “If you’re giving 1,000 people €500, the likelihood of reflow back into the casino is quite high, but, if you’ve got that €500,000, and it’s very close to falling out, the traffic that’s going to be attached to that is going to be huge.”

When considering how to combat the headache of jackpot chasers, Hammond stated that “it comes down to the mathematical makeup of the actual jackpot system.”

He continued: “Now, if you have enough variance in your fallout model balanced with enough liquidity, then of course, it becomes harder to predict, harder to chase and harder to leverage the RTP in your favour, and therefore harder to get the win.

“There was a problem in the industry a few years ago, where there was a massive lack of local jackpots. A flood of local jackpots came onto the market and fundamentally the liquidity was not there, and if the liquidity is not there, then any jackpot syndicate or abuser can know the tipping point and they can abuse it.

“So an operator can balance it by limiting the amount of jackpots in their portfolio for one and suppliers can balance it by varying the actual win frequency. And when the expected fallouts will be. A lot of it is down to the maths design.”

Golden Crown Casino has become the latest group to align with Softswiss for the use of the group’s jackpot solution as the brand eyes an uptick in player activity.

Under the terms of the new deal, the online casino, which operates under a Curacao licence, will launch its first jackpot campaign titled Golden Crown Jackpots, which Softswiss noted will help boost bettor engagement. This will comprise three progressive levels: mini, middle and grand.

“We are happy to partner with the Jackpot Aggregator because we believe that the connection of this solution will make the player experience more exciting and varied,” a Golden Crown Casino spokesperson said.

“As a result, it will help to increase trust and loyalty towards the brand. Such campaigns are very popular in land-based casinos, and we are sure that players will also appreciate the online casino jackpot system.”

In May, the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator launched a global campaign across MGA-licensed brands. At the time of the launch, strengthening customer experience and player loyalty around the world were set as the key strategic goals.

“The Jackpot Aggregator is an innovative solution, and we see strong interest in our expertise from igaming brands, whether it’s online casino projects, game providers, or game aggregators,” noted Aliaksei Douhin, Product Manager at Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator.

“Our key target is to expand the number of clients we cover over the current year. Adding each new project to our family is always a pleasure, and we are happy to welcome Golden Crown Casino.”

Through the saturation of jackpot products within the igaming market, developing something “fresh” required a different approach, according to Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming

Delving into the company’s news jackpot mechanic, Dream Drop, launched at the back-end of March, Hammon joined CasinoBeats to look into how this product differs to others within the market, how it works, the importance of a balanced portfolio when integrating a jackpot and its vision for Dream Drop’s future.

CasinoBeats: Talk us through Dream Drop’s launch and what Relax is bringing to the market – how is it different from other progressive Jackpots?

Simon Hammon: We’re very excited to bring Dream Drop to life when it officially launches on May 4 as part of the highly anticipated Temple Tumble 2 release. The Dream Drop Jackpot offers something truly unique in the jackpot space.

Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming.

We’ve combined the notion of high-end jackpot prizes with more defined win points, this will ultimately ensure a lot more excitement for players. The nature of most global jackpot products is that they take a very long time to gain traction and pay out, they also take a long time to seed ahead of the next expected win.

Relax is looking to turn that on its head with high action, high frequency Dream Drop jackpots. Underpinned by our innovative Relax Apex solution, Dream Drop Jackpots aims to create the fastest growing and most frequent winners on the market.

CB: What challenges did Relax face when it set out to develop this product?

SH: There are many challenges associated with creating a brand-new jackpot offering, especially when it’s something as ambitious and daring as Dream Drop. The market already has a number of well-known products, so developing something fresh requires a different approach.

We started out looking at the mathematics behind the jackpot, working out what we could do to ensure that we had a high-level jackpot that grew quickly and wasn’t too predictable. Player abuse around jackpots is a known issue, and naturally we’re keen to avoid that.

The next issue was around how we’d implement these jackpots into our games in a trustworthy and user-friendly manner, once we’d worked that out it was all about the logistics of administering and coordinating a global liquidity product with many operators.

CB: Dream Drop offers multiple ways for players to win. Can you take us through what these are and how they work?

SH: One of the key identifiers of Dream Drop is that players are guaranteed a jackpot whenever they enter the special Dream Drop feature, they will always hit one of the five progressives ranging from rapid to mega jackpot.

Dream Drop is a global jackpot, which means it’s linked with many operators, it’s also a linked progressive which means there are several games being built that will feed into the jackpots. Each game will have its own unique entry mechanism to the jackpot feature.

CB: The idea of a must win jackpot will always draw a crowd, but how difficult is it to innovate within the jackpot space in a market awash with options?

SH: There are a number of jackpot products on the market right now, especially local jackpots that are tied to just one operator at a time. But there’s room for a new and innovative product like Dream Drop in the global jackpot sphere. That must-win element is key to making the tangibility of winning a jackpot that much more real.

Jackpots rely on frequent wins, helping create winning stories and events in order to make it more palatable to play. Dream Drop aims to be the biggest and best jackpot out there, bringing bigger winners more frequently than any other jackpot out there.

CB: What games can we expect to see Dream Drop on? Why have you chosen these ones?

SH: We have a fantastic roadmap of Dream Drop games lined up for the coming months. We’ll be kicking this off with Temple Tumble 2, we chose this as we wanted to take a much-loved classic and create a sequel with something new and truly exciting to pull in both old and new players.

This release will be followed by a whole host of games built specifically to tie into our Dream Drop jackpot. Additionally, we’ll be upgrading our existing game offering. As an aggregator, we will also be extending this opportunity to select partners who will be invited to join the Dream Drop Jackpot series, boosting this portfolio of jackpot slots with their own unique twists.

CB: What’s the importance of having a balanced slots portfolio with major jackpot prizes?

SH: Realistically, jackpot slots aren’t going to appeal to every player out there, so it’s important that we have a good balanced slot portfolio, which is something I can safely say is the case at Relax. We pride ourselves on creating high-quality slots that are both graphically and mechanically diverse – adding jackpots into the mix gives our portfolio an entirely new angle, allowing players to win life-changing sums of money.

CB: What is your vision for this Dream Drop for 2023?

SH: Our ultimate goal for Dream Drop Jackpots is to see as many mega winner as possible! Nothing would make us prouder than being able to frequently announce the news that yet another title has been added to the Dream Drop series.

In time we expect it to evolve and become even bigger and better than it already is. We have some exciting plans for the development of several key features… However, I guess you’ll just need to wait for the news to DROP.

Earlier this month, Softswiss launched its Jackpot Aggregator – a solution which combines multiple jackpots into a single system.

Aliaksei Douhin, Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator product manager, walked us through the ways in which Softswiss is delivering a “real revolution in the world of jackpots” before giving us a sneak peak into what we can expect from the company in the coming months.

CasinoBeats: Firstly, for those that might not know about the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator, can you tell us what it is?

The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator is a new product designed to organise and run community games such as jackpots, bonuses or promotional games. The name ‘Jackpot Aggregator’ was chosen precisely because jackpots were the first to be available in the product, although the possibilities are now much broader.

The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator combines several igaming solutions and services. It was created as part of the new ‘Jackpot as a Service’ business model, where clients can use a single solution to create and manage their campaigns. At the current stage of development, the product offers each client a virtual jackpot system and their own set of jackpot templates with unique settings and game mechanics.

Let me explain. The virtual Jackpot System allows you to manage campaign parameters, and the jackpot templates enable you to create and customise multi-level jackpots. To get a campaign off to a quick start, you can use the standard solution or customisable settings to tailor it to your players’ segments.

Additionally, any casino or other client gaming system can be linked to the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator, combining them into a single global jackpot. The product will be useful for anyone who uses jackpots in their business, mainly casinos, game providers and game aggregators.

CasinoBeats: The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator was developed in collaboration with your clients. Can you walk us through the development process?

The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator was the answer to our clients’ request for a convenient and versatile jackpot performance tool. After all, only they know their players and their preferences that well.

In working with our clients, we focused on several areas that were particularly important when creating the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator. It was intended to be a way for igaming clients to manage tournaments, promotions and jackpot campaigns in a safe and transparent manner. That’s why we focused on the following functionality:

  • Segmentation features and the ability to synchronise  with existing casino segments
  • Use of player groups configured in the client’s platform in jackpots
  • Ready-made jackpot templates, unique and branded campaigns of any complexity and for any player segment
  • Simplе integration with the SoftSwiss Jackpot Aggregator
  • No hand-holding in operating the jackpot system without having maintenance and support costs

These are just a few of the things that went into the development. It has been a time consuming and long process, so I want to thank everyone who has worked and continues to work with us to improve the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator. Together we have created exactly the solution that was sorely lacking.

CasinoBeats: What has been the reaction to the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator so far?

For the clients with whom we cooperated in creating the Jackpot Aggregator, it was a long-awaited event. Those who have encountered jackpots in their business in one way or another have also shown great interest.

The main message we want to get across about the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator is that it is a great opportunity for our clients to focus on their target audience and provide a high-quality gaming experience. Our product avoids additional costs, and if needed, our expert team can help with the integration, setup and operation of the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator.

CasinoBeats: How is the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator opening up ‘unique and truly inexhaustible opportunities for the igaming industry’?

The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator is a real revolution in the world of jackpots. We have already discussed a bit about the functionality and some of the unique features of the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator, but I’d like to mention a few more things that the igaming industry will surely appreciate.

One of them is player segmentation. In short, it’s a mechanism for managing your target audience, using the universal features of the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator to form gaming teams. However, the client system is usually more sensitive to the demands of the players, so teams can not only be formed in the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator but also transferred directly from the operator’s platform.

It is important to stress here that the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator does not gain access to player data as the transfer of information uses a depersonalisation mechanism. Only impersonal identifiers reach the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator system.

It is also worth mentioning jackpot templates again because they are a truly unique and convenient solution. Each jackpot template has individual features and options, making each campaign unique.

It can be used to run any type of jackpot-based campaign (jackpots, tournaments, bonuses, etc.) in a single jackpot campaign, combining them into a single scenario. Jackpot templates allow you to tailor campaign parameters: casino attendance, player habits, specific markets, seasonality, and much more.

Each jackpot can consist of several levels with their own rules. The rewards in the levels can be independent of each other, or regulated by their own settings, turning the gameplay into a unified jackpot campaign.

CasinoBeats: In your opinion, how important will this product be in driving engagement with bettors?

The Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator allows you to set up precise targeting that, in conjunction with a unique and exciting jackpot scenario, will be appreciated by gaming enthusiasts. With the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator, clients also have the option to implement and offer their own branded scenarios to players. This certainly has a beneficial effect on bettors’ loyalty in the gaming process.

CasinoBeats: Tell us about the development plans for the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator.

Our development plans are very ambitious. We continue to work closely with our clients to perfect the product and expand its range of applications. Many of them are already seeing positive results and some are working on developing their own branded jackpots. We’re ready for the biggest challenges to make the igaming industry better with our new product, the Softswiss Jackpot Aggregator

Content aggregator Hub88.io has introduced its Phoenix Jackpot Wheel casino engagement tool, which it says has “already provided a significant performance boost” to early adopters.

The tool, which operates across the group’s portfolio of more than 50 content suppliers, sees two different jackpots drop randomly while players wager on games, and can be customised to the requirements of an individual casino or brand.

The ‘Must Drop Jackpot’ is a fixed prize pool which sees all active players within an igaming entity compete against each other. Players can receive free spins for playing the games selected by the operator organising the jackpot.

The ‘Mega Jackpot’ works as a progressive which can also be pre-seeded. If the jackpot doesn’t drop before the Must Drop Jackpot, the prize pool is transferred to the next round. The jackpot round ends when the Must Drop Jackpot drops.

It is said that the tool has already provided an early boost to partners’ performances, increasing average session duration by seven per cent, engagement by eight per cent and theoretical GGR by 25 per cent.

Vladimir Negine, Hub88.io director, noted: “Our analytics show that jackpots remain one of the most powerful engagement tools available to casinos, so we’ve built a next generation product which raises the bar.

“The Phoenix Jackpot Wheel offers both must drop and progressive jackpots, works across multiple suppliers and can be fully customised by operators. Put simply, it is the complete jackpot solution for online casinos.

“Alongside Hub88’s range of content and powerful suite of BI tools, we are able to provide a complete experience that both engages and retains players.”
